Meet the Monstera Adansonii aka “Swiss Cheese” plant. He is so aptly named as his large leaves get these fenestrations (holes) throughout making him resemble swiss cheese. He is definitely a collector and super popular in the indoor plant community. He’s pretty versatile and can either climb a totem and look epic but also look equally as jazzy cascading down his pot. He is grown and sold in 100mm pots.
Monstera Adansonii (100mm)
- Keep him in bright, indirect light to allow him to flourish but away from a window because he is prone to sunburn
- He thrives in a peat-based potting soil which can retain a bit more moisture
- Keep his soil nice and moist but not too wet. You can’t allow him to sit in soggy soil
